The 8th OPTO and 10th IRS² Conference will take place parallel to the SENSOR+TEST 2008 in Nürnberg. The conference committees chaired by Prof. Dr. Elmar Wagner, Fraunhofer Institute for Physical Measurement Techniques IPM in Freiburg and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerald Gerlach, Institute for Solid-State Electronics of the Technical University Dresden, have arranged the conference programmes. The 8th International Conference for Optical Technology in Sensor and Measuring Technology, OPTO 2008, will be divided into four presentation sessions and a poster session. The topics deal with Sources and Modules, Fibre Optic Sensing, Measurement Technologies and Applications. The 10th International Conference on Infrared Sensors and Systems, IRS² 2008, concentrates on Sensors and Arrays as well as on Applications. The IRS² Conference will also feature a poster session besides the four presentation sessions. Interested conference participants can register online for the OPTO & IRS² Conference by end of January.
