The SENSOR+TEST trade fair with its concurrent conference is presumed to be the worldwide leading forum for sensors, measuring and testing technology.  

And for the first time the SENSOR+TEST Conference will bring together the consolidated knowledge of the three conferences SENSOR 2009, OPTO 2009 und IRS² 2009 as part of the SENSOR+TEST. From 2009 they will take place every two years, alternating with the Conference „Sensoren und Messsysteme“ (Sensors and Measure-ment Systems) which will be organised by the Information Technology Society VDE (ITG) and the Society for Measurement and Automatic Control VDI/VDE (GMA).
