SENSOR+TEST Conference 2009 - Call for Papers
07/10/2008Next year, the parallel conferences to the SENSOR+TEST will have a new structure. Individual conferences will be held under the SENSOR+TEST Conference 2009 group: SENSOR 2009, OPTO 2009, and IRS2 2009. For all three parallel events, a Call for Papers has been issued. The submission deadline is 25 September 2008.
At the SENSOR Conference, chaired by Prof. Dr. Werthschützky, Technical University of Darmstadt, and Prof. Dr. Lerch, University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, the emphasis is again on sensors for various physical and chemical parameters as well as sensor technology and application. A special forum, which will also be represented by a stand at the trade fair, highlights the special role of microsystem technology.
Optical technologies are the centre of ever greater interest and keep generating new applications. Optical measuring technology is the subject of the OPTO Conference chaired by Prof. Dr. Wagner, Fraunhofer Institute IPM, Freiburg. Besides light sources and optical sensors, the various sessions will deal with optoelectronic methods and data processing as well with the application of optical measuring methods.
The third big conference in the SENSOR+TEST 2009 group is the IRS2 Conference on infrared measuring technology. This conference aims to bring together developers, suppliers, and users of infrared technology and to present the latest developments and applications in this field. The IRS2 sessions, chaired by Prof. Dr. Gerlach, Technical University Dresden, are divided into the areas of infrared sensors, components, and applications.
The organizers of all three conferences are asking interested parties to submit their conference contributions before 25 September 2008. Further information and application forms can be obtained at the SENSOR+TEST website ( www.sensor-test.com).
